Such as kidney problems, chromosomal or hormonal problems with testosterone, and scrofula due to childhood infections
If anyone does have damage to the reproductive system then it can cause of low or no sperm counts. As a health survey, it is seen that about 4 out of 10 men with total lack of sperm have an obstruction (blockage) within the tubes the sperm travel through. It is a birth defect or a problem such as an infection can cause a blockage.
Varicocele:
Varicoceles are swollen veins in the scrotum. Generally, it is found 16 out of 100 men. It is the most common in infertile men. It damages sperm development by blocking blood flow completely. It might be possible that varicoceles cause blood to flow back into your scrotum from your belly. Then, the testicles are too warm for making sperm. It can cause the low sperm count.
Retrograde Ejaculation
Retrograde ejaculation occurs when semen goes into the bladder instead of coming out of the penis. This is because the nerves and muscles of the bladder do not close during orgasm. It is possible that there are normal sperm in the semen at that time but the semen did not come out of the penis and did not reach the vagina. Mainly, retrograde ejaculation is caused by surgery, allopathic medicines or health problems of the nervous system. Its main symptoms are cloudy urine and seminal fluid or dry ejaculation immediately after ejaculation.
Immunologic Infertility
Due to the formation of antibodies in the male body, sperm also decays. The main reason for the formation of antibodies is often injury, surgery or infection. Because antibodies prevent sperm from moving normally, functioning, and moving freely, fertility may be affected. Yes, it is true that antibodies can make it difficult for sperm to swim up the fallopian tubes and enter the egg, which is an uncommon cause of male infertility.
Obstruction
Blockage in the ducts of the spermatic cord which may be due to infection, vasectomy, inflammation or any other defect. When a blockage occurs, the male reproductive tract is completely blocked and sperm cannot leave the body through the testicles during ejaculation.
Hormones
A hormone produced by the pituitary gland works to make sperm in the testicles. When the hormone levels are very low, the formation of sperm is extremely underdeveloped.
Chromosomes
If the sperm carries some of the DNA to the egg, changes in the number and structure of chromosomes will affect fertility. It is possible that parts of the male Y chromosome are missing.
